As an Information Manager in the Data & CRM team, I am responsible for the management, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a specific focus on alumni relations and fundraising processes. In my role, I act as the key link between users, data, and technology: I translate user needs into technical solutions and ensure data can be used to its full potential.  I implement external datasets into the information system and coordinate the imports from SAP, SIS, Contract Education, and TnT into Microsoft Dynamics 365. In addition, I provide training and instruction to both internal and external users, and serve as the primary point of contact for external clients through the helpdesk.  My expertise lies in transforming complex data into clear, visually compelling dashboards using Power BI Desktop. I develop and maintain advanced dashboards that not only offer insights into alumni and fundraising activities but also support strategic decision-making. These dashboards map out trends, opportunities, and risks for both internal and external stakeholders. With years of experience, I’m able to structure, analyze, and convert data into accessible, impactful visualizations that are truly used.  In addition, I automate recurring processes using Power Query in Excel and am continuously working to improve data quality. I safeguard the integrity of data and handle complex client requests, such as delivering personalized email or address lists.  Why work in Alumni Relations? The University of Amsterdam not only produces knowledge, but also graduates who apply that knowledge in their professional, societal, and personal lives. By feeding insights back to the university, alumni contribute to the continuous development of knowledge. I am proud to contribute to this culture of knowledge sharing through my work.  Workdays Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
