The Kuiper-Overpelt Study Fund is part of the UvA Fund. It was established to support talented students from developing countries or fragile democracies. The programme should help them participate constructively in civil society in their country of origin.

The fund can be used to cover a one-year Master’s programme at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). After completing the studies, the student or researcher is expected to contribute to the development of their home country for at least three years.
